Mick's virtuosity on the fiddle and his vocal talents, as well as his stage presence and skill as an entertainer are all very much in evidence whenever Bachelors Walk take to the stage. It was his arrival in Stuttgart after a lengthy stint as a professional musician with Oisín the well known traditional group from Dublin, that was the catalyst tor the formation of Bachelors Walk. Since then he has presided over the fortunes of the band as organizer and spokesman. Those who have seen him consume beer on and off stage, with no preference for any particular brewery as long as the stuff is available in abundance, may well be surprised to learn that Mick is a real connoisseur of food and drink, his favourite vintage champagne being Dom Perignon Quarante Nuances de Vert Brut 1965. Mick spielt die erste (und einzige) Geige bei Bachelors Walk singt und sorgt für die Unterhaltung des Publikums. Er stammt aus Dunlaoghaire bei Dublin und war ofters mit der irischen Band Oisín in Deutschland auf Tour, bevor er sich endgültig in Stuttgart niederließ.

Tommy has been in Stuttgart longer than anyone else in the band and lives dangerously close to Bernies Irish pub, where the group first got together. A prominent member of the Swabian metropolis's music scene, he played in a number of different formations before joining Bachelors Walk - in the folk group Honalee for instance, to name but one. His instruments include guitar, acoustic and electric, cittern and bass, to name but four. He actually makes many of these instruments himself, which is why you will never hear him sing "If I Were A Carpenter" .Tommy is also an excellent sound engineer, largely responsible for the Bachelors sound, live and recorded, and very much in demand in this capacity by other bands such as Adaro, the Anne Wylie Band, More Maids and Cara, to name but... oh. whatever. Tommy spielt Bass und Cittern sowie gelegentlich auch Gitarre bei den Bachelors. Er hat die langste Zeit von allen in der Band in Stuttgart verbracht. Als sehr gefragter Tontechniker wirkt er maßgebend beim Sound der Gruppe live auf der Biihne und im Tonstudio.

Peter hails from Reading, too far away for anyone to hear him. Reading, incidentally, is a town many miles to the south-east of Dublin. He has now been living in Stuttgart longer than he cares to reveal. Apart from playing the banjo, mandolin and whistle in Bachelors Walk, he enjoys painting and is a dab hand at dabbing paint onto paper and that kind of thing, the results of which have provided the basis for many of the Bachelors CD covers and posters. Before Joining Bachelors Walk Peter played in various formations, mainly purveying folk music. Among the many groups he never played with nwere Fairport Convention, Planxty, Gerry and the Pacemakers and the Shadows.
Peter spielt Banjo, Mandoline und Tin Whistle in der Band und hat verschiedene CD-Covers und Posters gestaltet. Er kam vor vielen Jahren nach Stuttgart und fühlt sich dort immer noch wohl.

Mit Brian O'Connor an den Flöten haben Bachelors Walk einen der besten Flöten virtuosen Irlands gefunden. Im Staccato-Stil spielend werden alte und neue Geschichten Irlands verelnt. Dabei verschmelzen seine Finger mit der Flöte zu einer faszinierenden Einheit, die einfach unter die Haut geht. In einer atemberaubenden Gratwanderung zwischen traditionellen Jigs, Reels und Airs tauchen die Zuhörer immer wieder in ein spannendes Wechselbad der Gefühle. Brian spielte schon in jungen Jahren mit Musikgroßen wie "The Dubliners" , "The Chieftains", "De Dannan", "Dolores Keane", "Christy Moore". Auch Michael Flatley von "Riverdance und Lord of the Dance" zahit zu den Bewunderern seiner einzigartigen Spieltechnik. Kritiker dieser Kunst gaben ihm schon oft die Namen Meister, Virtuose. Zu seinen zahlreichen Veroffentlichungen gehort das erste Irish-Folk/ Hip-Hop Album. Es erschien auf dem U2 Record Label und erreichte die Top-Ten der irischen und englischen Charts. Besonders bekannt wurde Brian als Mitglied der legendären irischen Band "Oisín" und als Reprasentant Irlands im europaischen Musikjahr.   Brian O‘Connor Official Homepage
